Chesapeake Bay Vacation Rentals - Getting Here

The Eastern Shore is a peninsula located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay. We share our peninsula with Delaware to the north and east, and Virginia to the south.

Talbot County is centrally located to many Metropolitan areas within a 1-3 hour drive. By car, we are 1 hour from Annapolis, 1.5 hours from Washington D.C., 1 hour from both Baltimore and Salisbury, MD, and 2.5 hours from Philadelphia.

The nearest commercial airports are Baltimore Washington International (BWI), and Reagan International Airport in Washington D.C.

Car rental is the best suggested way to come to the Eastern Shore, however there are also several municipal airports including Talbot County Airport (Easton/Newnam Field) which offer service for Charters, and can accommodate single and multi-engine aircraft, corporate jets and helicopters.
